Audio Transcription and Summaries for Minutes
An app that captures, transcribes and processes audio to generate a summary for meeting minutes.
The context
Turning hours of debate into organised documentation is a demanding task for assemblies and local authorities. To address this challenge, Portocali has been studying and developing a solution that combines audio capture, automatic transcription and artificial intelligence to support the preparation of minutes and make meetings easier to consult.
How it was designed
The solution was designed to integrate audio-system control with recording and transcription, distinguishing between speakers and linking the text to the corresponding point in the recording.
Planned development
Using the transcript, local AI without internet access is intended to generate draft minutes, summaries of the main topics, and lists of decisions and tasks, always subject to human review and validation. The project also includes a portal bringing together recordings, transcripts and supporting documents, with access permissions adapted to each user.
